Marie Anderson has had over thirty years experience as a teacher/educator,
facilitator/coach and psychotherapist/counsellor.
In 1998 Marie formed her own company, Marie Anderson Consulting Pty Ltd and
worked as a facilitator, trainer and coach in organisations, training in
communications skills: presentation skills; customer service; Quality; career path
counselling; time management; team building and workplace train the trainer.
During this time she gained qualifications as a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic
Programming (NLP); MBTI accreditation; Workplace Trainer Category 2, Cert. IV &
Workplace Assessment; Life Coaching course; Organisational Values assessments;
Career Consulting; and Stephanie Burns' Train the Trainer course. All this has
given her, in her capacity as a corporate trainer, a very broad understanding of the
needs of the workplace .
To deepen her understanding of human behaviour, Marie embarked on a Graduate
Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the renowned Jansen & Newman
Institute where, as well as a thorough grounding in the theory and practice of
psychotherapy, students are required to undergo group therapy as well as their own
personal therapy. She did specialist studies in Counselling Young People and
Sandplay and has done extra courses in Narrative Therapy, Voice Dialogue,
Emotional Freedom Technique, Integral Psychotherapy, and Jungian Archetypal
studies.
Marie's broad background gives her an added understanding as a counsellor/
psychotherapist of the stresses that impact people's work lives and in their gaining a
work/life balance. Her passionate interest is in helping people to find their true north
in their callings so that they may reach their potential in leading a fulfilling life.
